For almost 40 years Foothills Farm has been offering a legendary experience for riders and horse lovers. Summer Riding Camp caters to both the beginner and show rider in Hunter/Jumper and Combined Training disciplines. Riders may bring their own horse, or use one of the well-trained horses from our riding school.

Riders are immersed in the equine experience, caring for their horses, riding twice daily, and forming friendships that will last a lifetime.

Our counselors and instructors are well-rounded horse lovers and avid equestrians. They have been through the Canadian Pony Club, Equine Canada NCCP coaching programs and have mileage on both the Trillium and “A” Horse Show circuits, providing well-rounded horsemanship.

Getting to the Farm

Riders from across Canada and as far as the United States have travelled to experience a week of riding and horsemanship and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Northern Ontario. The Greater Sudbury Airport (YSB) offers several daily flights from Toronto. Free airport transfers to the farm are available.

Meet the horses

At the centre of the Summer Camp experience are the horses. During their stay, riders can bring their own horse or ride one of the quality horses at our farm. The horses in our riding school are kind, experienced and have a demonstrated track record of teaching great riders.
